EuroAfricaCCI gains more media traction—Kapital FM highlights our $300 million agriculture push
National broadcaster Kapital FM 92.9 Abuja has featured EuroAfrica Chamber of Commerce & Industries (EACCI) in a 10 June 2025 report, underscoring our commitment to unlock more than US $300 million for Nigeria’s agri-economy this year. The coverage outlines how EACCI, working with both federal and state partners, will channel funding into three high-impact pillars:
- Modern ranching (≈ US $200 million). A flagship, fully serviced ranch will introduce world-class livestock-management systems, boost domestic beef and dairy supply, and generate new value chains—from feed production to cold-chain logistics.
- Cocoa, fisheries and allied processing (≈ US $100 million). Expansions in cocoa estates and fish farms will capitalise on buoyant global demand and help Nigeria climb the value ladder through local processing and export-ready quality standards.
- Human-capital acceleration. In partnership with the Ministry of Budget & National Planning, state governments and private-sector actors, EACCI will roll out vocational and ICT-focused training programmes for thousands of youths and women, turning beneficiaries into self-reliant entrepreneurs and job creators.
Speaking to journalists on Nigeria’s Democracy Day, Amb. Dr Kingsley Obasohan, EACCI Director-General, emphasised that these investments are designed to diversify the economy, crowd in further private capital and deliver tangible dividends of democracy—particularly in rural communities. He also urged all levels of government to strengthen pro-business regulations so that small enterprises can flourish alongside large-scale projects.
