The European Africa Chamber of Commerce and Industries (EACCI) has officially presented Certificates of Appointment to two of its Local Implementation Partners in Nigeria.
The appointees are:
- Dr. Austin Ilenre Emuan, Managing Director/CEO of Gothic–Len Consortium Limited
- Olokhifa Maureen Aghomon, Managing Director/CEO of Moricol Healthcare Services Limited
The presentation ceremony, held in Abuja, was presided over by Dr. Kingsley Obasohan, Director General of EACCI. He emphasized that beyond promoting trade, the Chamber is also focused on executing development projects, hence the engagement of local partners to work with EACCI’s Treaty Implementation Board across Nigeria.
Project Focus Areas
Dr. Obasohan disclosed that EACCI is currently driving initiatives in housing, healthcare, agriculture, energy, construction, oil and gas, and food security. He highlighted ongoing plans to develop a 6,000-unit housing project in the Dei-Dei area of Abuja, alongside agricultural and energy-sector investments.
According to him, EACCI has committed about $3 billion across various sectors of Nigeria’s economy in 2025, with all projects fully funded by the Chamber. The appointed partners are expected to deliver within 26 months.
“Nigeria is one of Africa’s biggest economies, and we are here to contribute to its growth through strategic investments in key sectors,” he said, urging the new partners to uphold professionalism and deliver according to specifications.
